How Individual Therapy Works.
Step 1: Schedule a Free Consultation
Start by scheduling a free 15-minute consultation call. This initial call allows us to discuss your needs and explore how therapy can benefit you, all at no cost or commitment. This is a chance for you to get a feel for my approach and ask any questions you may have.
First Session
During our first session, we'll dive into understanding your current challenges and the factors influencing them. This session is all about setting a foundation for our work together. We'll start to explore your concerns in depth and discuss how therapy can support your goals.
Step 3: Collaborate on Goals for Therapy
As we move forward, we'll collaborate closely to set clear, achievable goals tailored to your needs. This collaborative process ensures that our work is focused on what matters most to you and helps us measure progress along the way. Your input is crucial in shaping a personalized therapy plan.
Step 4: Ongoing Sessions & Goal Check-In
In our ongoing sessions, we'll work together to address your concerns and track your progress. Regular check-ins will help us adjust our approach as needed and celebrate your achievements. This ongoing dialogue ensures that therapy remains responsive to your evolving needs and goals.
MY APPROACH
How I Help.
In my practice, I incorporate concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an approach that examines the intricate relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. By understanding how these elements interact, we can work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to feelings of anxiety, depression, and other challenging emotions.
Our collaborative work will center around fostering resilience and developing effective coping skills tailored to your unique experiences. Whether you're facing overwhelming stress or simply navigating life's uncertainties, my goal is to help you cultivate a toolkit of strategies that empower you to manage these symptoms more effectively.

$180

In-person and virtual sessions are the same rate.
INSURANCE
A note on insurance.
I do not take insurance. I am an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. This means you will be charged the full session fee at the time of your appointment.
I will then provide you with documentation/SuperBills (itemized medical receipts) for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Each insurance company/plan has different reimbursement rates.
COVERAGE GUIDE
How to Determine Out-of-Network Coverage.
On the back of your insurance card, there should be a benefits phone number. Call and provide them with the CPT Billing codes below and inquire about your out-of-network deductible, any co-insurance, or copays for which you are responsible.

PAYMENT
Clients are responsible for payment of the session fee at the time of the session, which can be made by credit card or HSA/FSA cards. Your card information is securely stored in your client portal, and all billing documents are easily accessible to you for your convenience.
I am dedicated to helping you navigate the insurance process and maximize your benefits to receive the care you deserve. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding billing or insurance.
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your health care will cost. Thanks to the No Surprises Act passed in 2021 by Congress, patients now know how much their treatment will cost with no surprises. Just as it should be!
